Full mouth reconstruction

Full mouth rehabilitation typically involves the restoration of previously damaged and broken down teeth as well as the replacement of those which may be missing. It also includes the restoration of a collapsed bite if required.

Causes of tooth structure loss:

  • Attrition, abrasion, abfraction
  • erosion.
  • dental caries.
  • bruxism/night grinding.
  • traumatic occlusion.

The treatment of such cases tends to be a lengthy and multi disciplinary approach.

The following treatment modalities may be used in various combinations as needed:

  • crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays,
  • dental implants.
  • dentures.
  • restorations(i.e. fillings)
  • crown lengthening
